Abilities Centre

From 2023 to 2024, I worked as a Digital Media Specialist at Abilities Centre with a focus on design and social media. My role involved creating inclusive, community-driven content for diverse audiences across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. I developed marketing materials for both digital and print, including graphics, program announcements, accessibility messaging, and event promotions. All copy was crafted to align with the Centre’s values of wellness, empowerment, and accessibility, combining clarity, warmth, and purpose across every channel.

I had the opportunity to develop a visual style for micro-campaigns on AC’s socials that focus on key dates, celebrations, days of recognition and more. By doing so, we were able to connect more with our staff and the community online.

I’ve had the opportunity to develop content and copy for all internal and external communications on the Marketing and Communications team at Abilities Centre. These design and copy samples can be found on their socials from July 2023 to July 2024.

While my main focus at Abilities centre was creating content on social media I had the opportunity to edit short form videos, and support the main designer with digital and printed material for internal and external use for marketing and communication purposes .
